Libra Association Forms Special Committee To Oversee Technical Development
In an effort to increase efficiency in the technical department, the management of Libra just towards the end of the year, 2019, formed a committee.
Recall that the members of the Libra Association includesAnchorage co-founder Diogo Monica, Calibra core product lead George Cabrera III, Bison Trails founder and CEO Joe Lallouz, Union Square Ventures partner Nick Grossman and Mercy Corps emerging technology director Ric Shreves.
In line with a disclosure made on Jan. 16,2020, the Libra Association has passed a resolution establishing the five-member Technical Steering Committee. The said committee is made up of leading professionals from various firms in the fintech and blockchain industries.
It was stated that the creation of a separate committee is in accordance with the Libra visions of being decentralized and self-governing .
The committee promises to publish its technical governance framework and other relevant documents by end of the first financial quarter of 2020.
